John Thompson from Bristol is delighted with the results of his vein treatment. John developed varicose veins in his twenties and he had unsuccessful NHS treatment. Johns’s Story
“I’ve had varicose veins since I was 20 years old. I had an operation for them on the NHS, but as soon as the bandage came off, I could see that the veins were still there! As I got older, they got worse and worse and eventually my legs were painful and swollen. I am self-employed and the work I do involves a lot of standing. I couldn’t risk them getting worse to the point of causing ulcers, so I opted to go private.
Dr Gajraj sorted my veins out without surgery and under a local. I was in and out in an afternoon and the result is amazing. I don’t have any varicose veins, my legs don’t hurt and they aren’t swollen when I get home in the evening. My legs haven’t looked and felt this good for 25 years!”
The Treatment
John had a combination of treatments all performed under ultrasound to ensure the best possible outcome. The clinical photographs show the result, just 6 weeks later.
