Recently, Sarah travelled all the way from the Plymouth area to have treatment for her varicose veins. Sarah’s Story
“My sister and I believe we inherited our varicose veins from our mother, who in turn blamed her mother! My sister had her veins surgically addressed some 15 years ago but they crept back with a vengeance. For me, I think exercise and good diet kept mine under control during my twenties but as my thirties passed by, they too crept in with a vengeance. My veins increasingly bulged and throbbed impacting not just on my health but on my self consciousness and lifestyle. Hitting 40 proved to be a time of self reflection and ultimately turned out to be the milestone that gave me the good excuse to invest a little in myself.
