The VeinCare Centre offers excellent value for money. At your initial assessment you will have a consultation, diagnostic* duplex ultrasound scan (when indicated) and a detailed discussion of the findings and the treatment options in one appointment. A full report is then provided to you and your family doctor. When you make comparisons with other clinics or private hospitals, do check what is included in the initial assessment. Some clinics, for example, will arrange a separate appointment for your ultrasound scan and then a further appointment to discuss the results. Often these appointments are charged separately.
Our treatment fees include all follow-up appointments (six weeks and six months following treatment), all duplex scans, any unscheduled appointments and scans for concerns that you may have, re-treatments for residual veins or reflux, all correspondence and reports as well as unlimited email and telephone advice. In addition, if you have any queries or concerns in the 12-month period after your treatment, we will be happy to see you for a further consultation and scan at no extra charge.
If any issues arise within 12 months of treatment, we will rectify these at no extra charge.

After treatment for leg varicose veins, your aftercare will involve an appointment and duplex ultrasound scan 6 weeks after your treatment and again 6 months after treatment. In the unlikely event that your treatment has not produced the desired outcome, as discussed with your specialist at your initial consultation, The VeinCare Team will treat you again at no extra charge. If at any appointment, additional treatment is found to be necessary, we will treat you at no extra charge. If at any time you are concerned, additional appointments will be arranged with your specialist, again at no extra charge.
After hand and arm vein treatments, you will be seen every 2 weeks and treated by “gentle sclerotherapy”, collagen stimulator injections and cryosurgical age spot removal as required. Once a satisfactory outcome has been achieved, you will be seen again at 6 months and further treatment will be given if necessary.
The VeinCare Team aim to have all your treatment for leg varicose veins or hand and arm veins completed within 6 months of starting. However, we understand that occasionally, our patients may have a concern after this 6 month final appointment and scan. If that happens, we will be happy to see you until the anniversary of your first treatment session, free of charge, for a consultation and duplex ultrasound scan. If a problem is revealed, we will treat you again at no extra charge. In this way, you can be assured of our help, should you need it, for up to 12 months after your treatment.
Special aftercare arrangements apply to thread vein treatment. Guidance will be provided at your consultation.
