Treatment — combination therapy

Combination therapy involves the use of several vein treatment options in one session to give the best possible results. For example, superficial vein reflux can be treated by VNUS Closure, Laser or Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy and then the varicose veins themselves can be treated by phlebectomy. The use of several minimally invasive treatment options together in one session gives excellent cosmetic results, rapid recovery and the lowest risk of veins returning (low recurrence rate). Dr Gajraj is one of the few specialists in the UK to use a combination of Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy and Phlebectomy for people who have developed recurrent varicose veins after the traditional surgical stripping operations.
